Webinar: Obligations Arising from Opposing Counsel Misconduct
Marcel Duhamel and Ted Mattis, partners and members of the Vorys litigation group, will present a webinar as part of the Vorys University: 2025 Professional Conduct & Ethics Webinar Series on December 2 at from noon to 1:00 P.M. EST.
The title of the presentation is "Obligations Arising from Opposing Counsel Misconduct." Among the topics discussed will be:
- the circumstances under which opposing counsel misconduct must be reported to the ethical authorities, when it should be reported, and when it should not be reported;
- processes and procedures after one lawyer reports another to the disciplinary authorities;
- prohibited uses of opposing counsel misconduct, including to gain settlement leverage, and more.
