What to Expect for 2023 Commercial Property Reappraisals 

Every six years, all Ohio counties are required to perform a tax reappraisal for all properties.  Based on information learned to date, we are anticipating significant increases for many commercial properties.

Vorys, CoStar and GBQ co hosted an event on Thursday, July 20 featuring the following topics:

• A proactive discussion on the upcoming reappraisal process with county auditors from Delaware, Franklin and Licking Counties: George Kaitsa, Michael Stinziano and Michael Smith
• Information on opportunities to work with county auditor’s offices before the process is finalized later this year
• An update on the status of the Central Ohio commercial real estate market as of the date of valuation for tax reappraisals, January 1, 2023
