Overview
Lauren is an associate in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the intellectual property (IP) group. Her current practice focus is primarily patent prosecution.
Lauren has extensive experience in the field of petroleum engineering, particularly in upstream operations. Formerly, she worked in the Gulf of Mexico and provided office based, as well as wellsite engineering, assurance and operational efficiency improvements to active rigs.
Lauren was a judicial extern for the Federal Magistrate Judge Frances Stacy of the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas.
Lauren has many certifications, including Mediator in the State of Texas certification, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) certification and a Trademark Clinic certification.
Lauren received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston and her B.S. in petroleum engineering from Marietta College.
