Overview
Jordan is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the health care group. He has significant experience with Medicare, Medicaid and private payor investigation and audit defense, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and overpayment audits and disputes. Jordan has experience representing adult and children’s hospitals, behavioral health providers, and recovery housing providers.
He also has experience with HIPAA compliance, Ohio Public Records Act compliance, Public Service Loan Forgiveness Act compliance, reproductive rights, and gender-affirming care.
Career highlights include:
- Assisting payors with seven-figure overpayment resolutions in the Medicaid managed care space.
- Providing emergency counseling to clients regarding federal privacy law compliance, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
Prior to joining Vorys, Jordan served as a legal extern in the office of the general counsel for a large institutional hospital headquartered in Columbus, giving him insight into the range of legal issues affecting major health care providers.
Jordan received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he served as the executive editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in world politics and history from The Ohio State University.
