Overview

Maggie is an associate in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the intellectual property (IP) group.  She has experience prosecuting pending patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and procuring patents in technology areas related to 5G telecommunications, semiconductors, AI/ML engineering, optical systems, internet and data systems, fintech systems, geophysical processing technologies, oil and gas technologies, and quantum computing.  Her patent prosecution experience includes standards essential patent prosecution.  Maggie has also provided patent landscape analysis, freedom to operate analysis, and due diligence services.

Maggie received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center where she was a member of the Moot Court Team.  She also received her B.S. cum laude in geophysics and a minor in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma.
