Overview

Melissa is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the health care group.

Prior to joining Vorys, Melissa served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Gilbert S. Sison of the Southern District of Illinois and a legal extern with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s Microenterprise Program.  She also held a legal internship with the Office of The Public Defender for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Melissa received her J.D. from the Washington University School of Law, where she served as staff editor and executive notes editor for the Global Studies Law Review.  She also served on the board of the Women’s Law Caucus.  She graduated magna cum laude from Emerson College with a B.A. in writing, literature and publishing.  While serving in AmeriCorps, Melissa received a graduate certificate in global studies and international relations from Northeastern University.
