AEP Ohio Transmission Company Files Certificate Application for Electric Transmission and Gas Facilities With the Ohio Power Siting Board

On January 19, 2017, AEP Ohio Transmission Company filed a certificate application for electric transmission and gas facilities with the Ohio Power Siting Board concerning a new proposed transmission line project in Monroe County.  AEP Ohio Transco calls the proposed project the Herlan – Blue Racer 138 kV transmission line project.  The proposed project would be approximately 3.3 miles long and would include structures over 70 feet above ground.
