Briscoe Selected for Inaugural Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellows Program

Tiffany Bingham Briscoe, associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, has been selected by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as a member of its inaugural Fellows Program.  Ms. Briscoe joins the historic first class of LCLD Fellows nominated for their legal expertise and proven leadership ability.

Established in 2009, the LCLD aims to advance diversity in the legal profession.  The Fellows Program was designed to connect high-potential attorneys with general counsel and managing partners from exceptional organizations.  The year-long professional development program will focus on relationship building and leadership training, and offers fellows opportunities to network with top leaders in the legal field.  Selection to the program was rigorous and limited to nominees from member organizations only.   

Ms. Briscoe’s practice focuses on litigation and trial practice work in premises liability, products liability, and employee wrongful death cases.  She also handles commercial litigation and appellate cases, including the representation of financial and lending institutions.  Ms. Briscoe is a former Assistant Professor of Law at South Texas College of Law and former clerk to Chief Judge, Eric T. Washington on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.  Additionally, she was a research assistant and teaching fellow for Hon. A. Leon Higginbotham at Harvard Law School.  Ms. Briscoe was recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2004—2006, and 2009—2010.
