Geigel Appointed as Hispanic National Bar Association’s Region X President
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease is pleased to announce that Henrique Geigel, an associate in the Columbus office, has been appointed to his second term as the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) Region X president. The HNBA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, national membership organization that represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals in the United States and its territories. Each president of the HNBA’s 19 regions are members of the HNBA’s Board of Governors and work to ensure the execution of the Association’s local, regional and national programs by working closely with the HNBA Executive Committee and the HNBA Affiliate Organizations across the country. As the president of Region X, Geigel will preside over Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee from 2021 to 2022.
Geigel’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, as well as general business litigation, and he is a member of the national toxic torts defense team for several Fortune 500 companies. He has over ten years of experience as a litigator, mostly on the defense side, and is savvy on all aspects of trial practice, focused on helping clients mount thorough trial defense strategies while posturing cases towards a prompt and efficient resolution. Geigel also serves as Ohio counsel in the defense of toxic tort litigation arising from alleged asbestos and benzene exposures, as well as other product and premises liability cases.
