James J. McMonagle Named to American College of Civil Trial Mediators
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is proud to announce that James J. McMonagle, of counsel in the firm’s Cleveland office, has been named to the American College of Civil Trial Mediators.
The American College of Civil Trial Mediators is a non-profit organization of professionals distinguished by their experience, skill, ethical standards and professional commitment to mediation, conflict management and alternative dispute resolution. Members of the organization include Senator George J. Mitchell and others who are dedicated to improving the ethical and professional standards of mediation practice.
McMonagle is a member of the corporate and finance and health care practice groups. He has been involved with the mediation and arbitration of complex cases throughout the United States, including tort business, securities and employment litigation as well as unwinding and restructuring businesses as a result of unexpected market changes.
McMonagle is also a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) and has been named in the Best Lawyers in America for Alternative Dispute Resolution since 2006. McMonagle served as a Judge of the Common Pleas Court of Cuyahoga County for 13 years.
