Joseph Miller, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and the chair of the firm’s litigation group, was quoted in a Columbus Business First story about U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals decision regarding a proposal for an extended stay "residential hotel" as part of a major development in Powell Ohio. According to the story, the court found that company is within its rights to interpret a residential hotel as "reasonable constru(ction)" for the zoning on its property.
The story states:
'"The Court of Appeals appropriately vindicated our clients’ constitutional right to develop its property pursuant to the zoning that the City of Powell should have respected,' said Joe Miller, an attorney with Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease LLP who is representing the developer.
