Vorys Receives Greater Columbus Arts Council’s 2012 Community Arts Partnership Award
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease has received the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s (GCAC) 2012 Community Arts Partnership Award for a medium sized business. The award program, now in its 29th year, recognizes crucial contributions to the arts including financial support, non-cash contributions, volunteer involvement and board participation.
Vorys was selected because it has been a tireless supporter of arts initiatives in central Ohio. Vorys was nominated by the Wexner Center for the Arts. In the nomination the Wexner Center said that “whether serving on organizations’ boards of directors or volunteering for individual events, Vorys and its partners, associates, and staff have made a commitment to the area’s nonprofit organizations, extending its generosity with monetary contributions as well as with pro bono legal work.”
