Experienced Employment Litigator Joins Vorys in Pittsburgh

Vorys announced today that James McGraw, an attorney with nearly two decades of litigation and labor and employment experience, has joined the firm as a partner in the Pittsburgh office.   McGraw has represented clients from a variety of industries including construction, real estate, retail, transportation, and government. 

“Jim is an exceptionally talented attorney with an outstanding reputation,” Vorys Pittsburgh Office Managing Partner Keith Zabela said.  “We are excited to welcome him to the firm and continue to expand the services that we offer from Vorys’ Pittsburgh office.”

McGraw has a national labor and employment practice focusing on all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage and hour class and collective actions.  He also has significant experience representing businesses and governments in collective bargaining and grievance arbitration matters involving unionized workforces, as well as representing clients in employment-related litigation.  McGraw advises clients regarding restrictive employment covenant, non-compete, and compliance issues. 

In addition, McGraw represents business clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts and before the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and Superior Court of Pennsylvania.  He frequently represents clients in construction, land use and zoning, and real estate litigation.  McGraw also has significant appellate experience.

McGraw is the current vice chair and prior chair of the Zoning Hearing Board for the Borough of Franklin Park.  He is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. 

McGraw received his J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Kentucky.
