Cincinnati Enquirer Features the Vorys Cincinnati Office in Story Titled “Growing Demand Spurs Vorys' Growth”
The Cincinnati Enquirer published a story regarding the Vorys Cincinnati office entitled “Growing demand spurs Vorys' growth.” The story, featured a quote from Nate Lampley, the managing partner of the firm’s Cincinnati office, about the recent growth in the firm’s commercial and real estate group.
“‘I don’t know that we were intentional about growing the commercial group,’ Lampley said. ‘It’s just that the clients had so much work for us, we had to find excellent lawyers to get the work done.’
The story also included quotes about the firm’s national Housing & Urban Development (HUD) financing practice, which is based in Cincinnati. The HUD group represents lenders who extend loans to finance multi-family housing, nursing homes and assisted-living facilities. The story states:
"Eric Schlager, chief executive officer at Boston-based real estate firm The Bulfinch Companies, Inc., said lower costs aren’t the only reason Vorys has represented his company for more than 20 years.
‘I’m not in the general business of complimenting lawyers or law firms, but the guys at Vorys truly care,’ Schlager said. ‘There’s no ego, no showmanship. You don’t find that with a lot of firms in New York, or here in Boston.’
Ellen Kantrowitz, managing director of CWCapital, a Boston-based asset-management firm, said Vorys has exclusively represented the firm on Federal Housing Administration loans and closings since 1988.
'Their knowledge and understanding of FHA rules and regulations makes them unique,'she said."
