Vorys Grows in Cincinnati; Welcomes Stagnaro and Veith
Vorys announced today that two experienced corporate, real estate and estate planning attorneys have joined the firm in Cincinnati; Jeffrey Stagnaro and Patrick Veith.
“As part of our ongoing mission to expand within the Cincinnati market, we have sought talented attorneys who want to practice at a firm that values innovation, teamwork, integrity and excellent client service,” said Emily Pan, co-managing partner of the Vorys Cincinnati office. “Jeff and Pat share our values and are highly respected attorneys who will strengthen our corporate, real estate and estate planning teams. They are both Cincinnati natives, and their network will help Vorys expand our reputation as a 'go-to' law firm in Cincinnati.”
For more than 30 years, Stagnaro has assisted local entrepreneurs and closely held business owners with a wide range of business and legal issues. As an outside general counsel to many companies, he serves not just as a lawyer but as a strategic advisor. Stagnaro also has a robust estate planning practice that allows him to further counsel business owners, and individual clients, on the most effective manner to protect and transfer their wealth to the next generation.
“I’m excited to join Vorys and offer clients the opportunity to access the vast resources of a full-service law firm,” said Stagnaro. “Those resources, coupled with Vorys’ collaborative team approach, will be a tremendous asset to our clients.”
Veith works with many local entrepreneurs and privately held business owners, helping them establish, grow, and protect their businesses. Over more than 20 years in practice, he has developed a reputation as a trusted advisor and business counselor and works alongside his clients as their businesses expand. In addition to his corporate practice, Veith has developed a commercial real estate practice and enjoys assisting his clients during the entire cycle of a real estate transaction; from contract to closing. Finally, he represents local and regional banks and will work with Vorys’ title companies to handle their loan closings.
“Practicing law at Vorys seems like a natural fit for me,” said Veith. “I was drawn to the firm’s collegial culture and the innovative way that Vorys attorneys practice law as a team.”
In addition to Stagnaro and Veith, Vorys recently welcomed seven first-year associates to the Cincinnati office; the firm’s largest class in the city in 22 years.
The Vorys Cincinnati office opened in 1984 and recently celebrated its 40th anniversary in the city. Located in the Great American Tower, the office includes over 75 attorneys and a dedicated team of paralegals, project assistants, investigators and legal professionals.
