Overview
Cassidy is an associate in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the finance, energy and real estate group. Her practice primarily focuses on commercial finance. She represents borrowers and lenders, both public and private in a variety of transactions. Cassidy also assists clients in franchising matters, including preparation of franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements.
In addition, Cassidy regularly represents financial institutions and corporate end-users — including public companies, manufacturing companies and retailers — in connection with derivative transactions under the ISDA Master Agreement and its related suite of documents, including drafting and negotiating related Schedules and Credit Support Annexes, and related regulatory matters under Title VII of Dodd-Frank.
Cassidy was a Teach For America Corps member in New Orleans, LA where she taught middle school social studies for three years.
Cassidy received her J.D. magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law Houston and was a Presidential Fellow. She received her B.A. in political science with a minor in diversity and community engagement from Virginia Tech.
