Overview

Matthew is an associate in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the litigation group.  He has experience in representative matters including:

  • Member of team representing the State of Texas, Idaho, Indiana, Mississippi, Louisiana, North Dakota, South Carolina and South Dakota as outside trial counsel in a multidistrict litigation anti-trust case against a Fortune 10 technology company
  • Appointed to a Plaintiffs Steering Committee in the FTX Cryptocurrency Exchange Collapse multidistrict litigation
  • Member of team representing various clients, from local businesses to professional sports teams, in federal multidistrict, federal and state litigations across the country involving COVID-19 business interruption insurance claims
  • Member of outside counsel team for the State of New Jersey in various lawsuits to recover Natural Resource Damages incurred by the state
  • Member of litigation team representing relator whistleblowers in federal and state qui tam actions against pharmaceutical companies for fraud against state Medicaid programs
  • Assisting in the representation of various class representatives in groundwater contamination class action litigations
  • Assisting in the representation of a privately-owned mortgage bank against a large global investment manager

Matthew received his J.D. cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and his B.S. in sociology with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Connecticut.
