In these unforeseen and unique circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want to keep our clients abreast of how patent and trademark offices around the world are handling deadlines and other issues. In the linked Google document you will find the latest updates from various patent and trademark offices around the world, including the U.S., EPO, Japan, Brazil, India, and more. Many offices are extending deadlines and/or allowing revival for unintentional abandonment with special circumstances.

Although we endeavor to keep this list and the information contained in it up-to-date, we suggest that you confirm the information with any patent office for which you have a particular interest before taking any action. Our plan is to update the Google document and send an update at least weekly. That said, if you see something that has changed for a particular patent and trademark office but has not been reflected in the document, we would appreciate hearing from you.
