Casey N. Valentine

Casey is a senior attorney in the Vorys Columbus office and is a member of the finance, energy and real estate group.  He has extensive experience in oil and gas law, including drafting drilling title opinions and division order title opinions, as well as assisting producers with regulatory matters. Casey regularly represents operators before the Ohio Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management in statutory unitization proceedings.  In addition to his oil and gas practice, he also advises clients with mineral rights issues in connection with the purchase and/or development of commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Vorys, Casey practiced oil and gas law at two different law firms and spent more than four years as a petroleum landman for an oil and gas company in the Utica Shale Play in eastern Ohio.

Casey received his J.D. from Capital University Law School and his B.A. from Wittenberg University.
