Overview
Patricia is an associate in the Columbus office. She is a member of the labor and employment group's immigration subgroup with an emphasis in the area of immigration and nationality.
Patricia’s practice primarily focuses on assisting business clients with employment-based immigration, including temporary and permanent employment-based visas. She also assists individual clients with family-based immigration and naturalization.
Prior to joining Vorys, Patricia worked for a nonprofit organization as managing attorney of their pro bono team, where she implemented pro bono projects, recruited pro bono attorneys and coordinated legal clinics. She also has experience in the area of family law.
Patricia is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Patricia received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and received her B.S. in international studies from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Patricia was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She is a naturalized U.S. citizen and holds dual U.S. and Venezuelan citizenship. She is a native Spanish speaker.
