OVERVIEW

John T. Hinton, III is an Associate in the Litigation Practice at White and Williams LLP, where he focuses on general liability matters. He represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, product liability, and commercial vehicle accidents.

John has experience drafting pleadings, engaging in motion practice, preparing dispositive motions, and in taking and defending key witness depositions. During his first years in practice, John has gained valuable experience from pre-suit investigations and resolution up to and including trial.

John graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School where he served as President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and served on the Editorial Board of the Widener Law Review. During law school, he interned with the United States Attorney’s Offices for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, where he contributed to both criminal and civil divisions by drafting motions and memoranda. Prior to law school, John worked as an internal auditor and insurance underwriter, equipping him with a practical understanding of the insurance industry that informs his litigation strategy.
