PRACTICES
OVERVIEW
Rebecca Foley is able to analyze the underlying medical issues within the context of articulating successful defense strategies for her clients thanks to her previous work as a clinical research coordinator for physicians at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and her 20 years of medical malpractice experience.
Rebecca identifies and retains preeminent experts for all aspects of the complex medical malpractice action. She develops deadline-driven expert witness testimonies and participates in the preparation of these complicated, major jury malpractice actions including, drafting of pre-trial motions, motions in limine, Frye motions, preparation of expert witness direct and cross-examinations. Rebecca directly communicates and confers with the clients throughout the work-up of the cases.
Prior to attending law school, Rebecca was a clinical research coordinator for Ernest F. Rosato, M.D., and the John Rhea Barton Surgical Associates at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This base of medical knowledge, combined with her analytical skills, is an integral part of her success in working with medical malpractice expert witnesses, a crucial component of such litigation. Focusing her practice on this key aspect of medical malpractices allows Rebecca to immediately respond to deadlines inherent within civil litigation and, equally important, clients' needs.
