White and Williams is proud to sponsor the 2024 National LGBT Chamber of Commerce Annual International Business & Leadership Conference on July 31 – August 2 in Palm Springs, CA which will include presentations by leaders across the country.

Partners Tanya Salgado and James Vandermark will present on a panel “Demystifying the Hype: Understanding the Landscape of DEI Legislation & Rulings,” hosted by JURISolutions Legal’s Cindy Towers, Esq. and Adam Murphy, Esq. The panel will cover recent legislative developments and court rulings impacting DEI policies and initiatives. The discussion will also touch on the current state of anti-DEI laws at a state level with a focus on Florida and Alabama and how they intersect with the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard and finally speak about the state of the various legal challenges to the implementation of the anti-DEI laws and the status of legal injunctions. Their presentation will begin at 4:00 p.m. PST.
