White and Williams opened a new office in Stamford, Connecticut on August 1, 2021. In addition to the physical expansion, the firm is pleased to announce the additions of Thomas Infurna and Sarabeth Gaver as partners, and Brian Kim as associate in the Real Estate and Finance groups.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time for the firm as we celebrate the opening of our new – and first – Connecticut office and welcome several impressive additions to our growing roster of attorneys,” said Andy Susko, Firm Managing Partner. “As the needs of our clients are constantly evolving, the firm’s main priority is strategic recruitment and growth to enhance the breadth and depth of our offerings to provide excellent client service and legal counsel.”

Located at 9 West Broad Street near downtown Stamford, the new location further aligns the firm with the financial services, insurance and real estate industries headquartered in the region. The office will be the primary office for seven attorneys that handle matters for a diverse group of clients both locally and nationwide. The attorneys provide services across a range of areas including real estate, finance, insurance, labor and employment, commercial litigation, and tax and estates.

Both Infurna and Gaver join White and Williams from Eckert Seamans. Prior to joining White and Williams’ Stamford office, Infurna served as the chair of the Real Estate Finance practice at Eckert Seamans and brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate law and asset-based financing. He focuses on permanent and construction financing, mezzanine, bridge and term loans, mortgage loan sales and purchases, distressed debt portfolios, loan restructurings, workouts, and foreclosures. Infurna’s clients include commercial, investment, and savings banks, conduit lenders, life insurance and capital companies, pension fund advisors and real estate investors and developers. He received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.

Located in the Newark office, Gaver was previously a partner in the real estate finance practice and has experience as a commercial loan officer. She is well-versed in commercial mortgage backed securities, commercial permanent, interim, bridge and mezzanine loans, handling all aspects of the transaction from origination through credit and closing. She earned her J.D. from New York Law School.

Brian Kim also joins the firm’s Newark location as an associate in the Real Estate group from Brach Eichler LLC in New York. In his role, Kim represented buyers, sellers, lenders, and landlords in the closing of commercial real estate transactions. He was responsible for managing the transaction process from origination to closing, coordinating with other attorneys, lenders, borrowers, and third-party vendors to reduce any obstacles and to ensure a timely closing. He earned his J.D. at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

“Tom, Sarabeth and Brian bring tremendous experience and sophisticated practices to our expanding real estate and finance groups,” said Nancy Frantz, Chair of the Real Estate and Finance groups. “We’re confident they will be fantastic additions to the team as we continue to handle complex, nuanced transactions to advance clients’ business objectives.”
