White and Williams Partner, Randy Maniloff, interviewed Father Bryan Pham for ABA Journal
Randy Maniloff, Partner, was recently published by the ABA Journal for his article, “From Courtroom to Courtside: Gonzaga Law prof also serves as chaplain for basketball team,” where he interviewed Gonzaga University School of Law Assistant Professor Father Bryan Pham.
Throughout this article, Maniloff and Pham discuss the Jesuit priest’s daily life, and the similarities that link his work as an assistant law professor to his work as the chaplain for the Gonzaga Bulldogs men and women’s basketball teams.
Pham and Maniloff explore Pham’s work behind-the-scenes as a spiritual advisor to the teams, and how his work as an attorney prepared him for this role.
Following this interview with Maniloff, the men’s team went on to win the first round of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament against the University of Georgia Bulldogs with a score of 89-68, with Pham sitting right by their side on the court.
