Heidi Sorvino Named to Turnaround Management Association Executive Committee and Board of Directors

Partner Heidi Sorvino has been appointed to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Turnaround Management Association's (TMA) New York City Chapter. Heidi will serve as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Her two-year term began on January 1, 2019.

TMA is the most professionally diverse organization in the corporate restructuring, renewal and corporate health space. TMA members are a professional community that seeks to strengthen the global economy by working to save distresses businesses, assist management to navigate off-plan events and help healthy companies avoid similar pitfalls. Established in 1988, TMA has almost 10,000 members in 53 chapters worldwide, including 33 North American chapters. 

Heidi is nationally recognized by her clients and peers as a leading lawyer in the practice of financial restructuring and bankruptcy. She is a long-time member of TMA and previously served on its Global Board of Trustees. Heidi concentrates her practice on corporate restructurings, complex bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, representing creditors and debtors through all phases of Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcy both inside and outside the courtroom.
