White and Williams Adds Two Counsel in New York City Office

White and Williams is pleased to announce the addition of Bruce MacLennan and Ilaria Maggioni as Counsel in the New York City office. Bruce joins the International and Corporate and Securities groups and Ilaria joins the Intellectual Property group.

Bruce advises clients based in the U.S., Asia, Europe and the U.K. on structuring and executing complex cross-border business transactions, principally in the areas of private investment fund formation and the structuring of pooled and individual investment vehicles, private equity and venture capital investments, secondary market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and the structuring of joint ventures, strategic alliances and customized business partnerships. Prior to joining White and Williams, Bruce practiced for 23 years in the Tokyo and New York offices of global AmLaw 100 firms.

Ilaria’s experience includes the management of multi-country legal teams in patent enforcement and litigation. She began her legal career in Rome, Italy and has been a practicing New York attorney since 2002. Ilaria concentrates her practice on the registration, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the U.S. and abroad. She litigates both domestic and international patent, copyright and trademark infringement as well as commercial disparagement and trade libel matters. She is experienced in cross-border transactions and brings a global perspective to her intellectual property practice.
