Jonah Levinson Receives the 2025 LFMC Public Service Award

Philadelphia Bar Association
Philadelphia, PA
7.11.25

White and Williams joins in congratulating Jonah Levinson, Associate, for receiving The Philadelphia Bar Association’s Large Law Firm Management Committee and Large Firm Pro Bono Committee’s 2025 LFMC Public Service Award during the Committee’s Citywide Summer Associate Reception, held on Wednesday, July 9 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Water Works in Philadelphia.

This award, which annually honors two young lawyers who have made a difference in Philadelphia through extraordinary pro bono representation or public service to individuals or entities, was awarded to Jonah for his exceptional work on these committees.

Jonah’s deep commitment to pro bono work is exhibited in his passion for providing legal assistance to those in need and actively contributing to the community. While in law school, Jonah spent his final year as a Fox Board Fellow, where he was placed on the board of directors of Philadelphia VIP, a local pro bono services organization, for the academic year.

Currently, alongside his work in these Philadelphia Bar Association committees, Jonah also serves as the Executive Director and Board President of Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3), Philadelphia Chapter, SPEBSQSA, and as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

When asked about his commitment to pro bono work, Jonah said, "doing pro bono work is a continual reminder of why I went into law in the first place, and it has challenged me, humbled me, and guided me to becoming a better lawyer and person. Legal organizations in Philadelphia, such as Philadelphia VIP, are always in need of volunteer attorneys for this immensely rewarding work, and I strongly encourage all who are able to take a case or two!”
