PBA Large Law Firm Committee Increases Engagement/Requests Feedback
White and Williams Chair Emeritus and Former Managing Partner, Patricia Santelle, discusses engagement and education for law firm leaders through the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Large Law Firm Committee in a recent article published by the Pennsylvania Bar News on December 4, 2023, “PBA Large Law Firm Committee Becomes More Engaging, Requests Feedback”.
In the article, Santelle and Kevin E. Raphael, Co-Chairs of the PBA Large Law Firm Committee, discuss programming focused on educating current and future law firm leaders, retaining and developing associate talent, wellness and women in the profession, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. “Some of the programming that we’re doing was the result of meeting with large firm leaders, to say, what can we do for you?” Santelle said in the article.
One such idea will be the subject of an upcoming program the committee is co-sponsoring with the Young Lawyers Division on December 14, “Leaders Learn from Associates: An Associate’s Perspective.”
“During this program, associates and newer attorneys will share what they need from their law firms, senior attorneys and mentors to succeed in their positions and careers,” said Santelle.
Santelle and Raphael discuss their main goals going forward and are seeking feedback from Pennsylvania large law firm attorneys on their recent and future endeavors.
