Siobhan Cole Recognized by Bloomberg as Key Player in 2020 Environmental Litigation

Partner Siobhan Cole was recognized by Bloomberg Environment as a lawyer leading critical environmental law issues in 2020. She is handling "one of the biggest energy issues on the docket," representing landowners affected by pipeline procedural tools that left them in administrative limbo while construction began on their property.

In December, landowners challenging the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (FERC) approval of the Atlantic Sunrise project, represented by Siobhan and the White and Williams team, were granted a rare rehearing en banc by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. The case has gained the national attention of energy lawyers, who "say [it] could shake up how FERC does business." The rehearing is set for March of this year.
