White and Williams was recognized at the Philadelphia Business Journal's Faces of Philanthropy Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 6, 2017. The dinner honored partnerships between for-profit and non-profit organizations that benefit the city of Philadelphia. For the second consecutive year, White and Williams was specifically recognized for its significant number of pro bono hours donated throughout 2015, which ranked highly among local law firms. 

Pete Mooney and Wes Payne, Co-Chairs of the firm's Pro Bono Committee, were in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the firm. 

White and Williams has a long, proud history of leadership in the provision of pro bono services, and our lawyers provide thousands of hours of free legal services annually to individuals and non-profit organizations for a variety of causes. The firm also supports the Philadelphia Bar Association's One Day Pledge, as our lawyers across all offices pledge to devote 24 hours annually to pro bono and community service efforts
