White and Williams Supports the Philadelphia Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Tour

In November, a delegation of musicians from The Philadelphia Orchestra joined their counterparts, including musicians from the China National Symphony and the Tianjin Julliard School, for performances in China to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of The Philadelphia Orchestra’s historic visit to Beijing in 1973. Both President Biden and President Xi Jinping of China, in advance of their meeting at APEC, praised the visit by The Philadelphia Orchestra.

In addition to serving as special counsel to The Philadelphia Orchestra for the 2023 China Tour, White and Williams sponsored a reception at the Tianjin Julliard School, in advance of the Saturday performance. The Winners Law Firm, White and Williams’ strategic partner in Tianjin, toasted and congratulated The Philadelphia Orchestra on behalf of the firm at the reception.

Additionally, some members of a Tianjin delegation who visited Philadelphia and the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia this September were present at the November 11th reception and concert in Tianjin and were guests of White and Williams. Through White and Williams support, the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia continue to forge closer relations with the World Trade Center of Tianjin to explore strengthening business opportunities between companies in the Greater Philadelphia region and Tianjin, the Sister City of Philadelphia.
