Carol Rooney Touts the Mission and Membership Benefits of the ABA TIPS Appellate Advocacy Committee

Hinshaw partner Carol Rooney recently authored an article in The Brief discussing the membership benefits of serving in the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) Appellate Advocacy Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA).
As a Florida board-certified appellate attorney and immediate past chair of the TIPS Appellate Advocacy Committee, Carol discusses the group’s mission to bring together appellate specialists, judges, litigators, and professionals passionate about appellate practice.
Carol concludes her article by noting:
The TIPS Appellate Advocacy Committee provides a space for anyone interested in the civil justice system, appellate advocacy, building an appellate practice, or simply just enhancing written and oral advocacy. Our members are from a wide variety of backgrounds, including big and small firm practitioners, solo practitioners, members of the judiciary, law professors and other academic professionals, and law students.
