Hillary Weigle Appointed to Serve on the Illinois Defense Counsel Board of Directors

The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Hillary Weigle has been appointed to serve on the Illinois Defense Counsel Board of Directors. The appointment takes effect in June 2023.

Established in 1964, The Illinois Defense Counsel (IDC) is a community of defense attorneys, dedicated to improving the judicial system and the practice of law. Members of the IDC are attorneys in Illinois who devote a substantial portion of their practice to the representation of business, corporate, insurance, professional and other individual defendants in civil litigation.

Weigle is a litigator who concentrates her practice on defending industry leaders in matters involving construction, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, premises liability, design and construction professionals, and product liability. She has served as lead counsel in more than 20 jury trials relating to construction, insurance, and general liability matters, including construction defect claims and insurance coverage disputes. Weigle also serves as Chair of the IDC's Construction Law Committee.
