Jill Eckhaus Re-Elected to a Three-Year Term on the Illinois Defense Counsel Board of Directors

The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Jill Eckhaus has been re-elected to a new three-year term on the Illinois Defense Counsel (IDC) Board of Directors. She was officially elected at the organization’s Annual Meeting, held on June 20, 2025.

Jill's term on the IDC Board of Directors will run through June 2028. She has served on the Board since 2023 and is the current Vice Chair of the IDC Medical Malpractice & Healthcare Committee.

Jill represents hospitals, nurses, physicians, dentists, and chiropractors in medical negligence and catastrophic injury proceedings, including actions for wrongful death. As part of her general liability and personal injury practice, Jill also represents clients in construction and security matters. Drawing on her experience as a senior public defender and her background at several Chicago-based defense firms, Jill manages all aspects of litigation and is known for her zealous advocacy and thorough trial preparation.
