Scott Seaman Named to the Law360 2024 Insurance Authority General Liability Editorial Advisory Board
The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Scott Seaman has been named to the Law360 2024 Insurance Authority General Liability Editorial Advisory Board. He joins eight other attorneys nationwide who were selected to serve on the board. Seaman has previously served on Law360 Editorial Advisory Boards in the area of insurance.

Seaman is co-chair of Hinshaw's global Insurance Services Practice Group and acts as Hinshaw's core industry group leader for the insurance industry, and serves on the firm's Executive Committee. He brings over 36 years of commercial litigation experience to represent companies before trial courts, appellate courts, and arbitration panels across the country in a variety of cases and matters, such as general liability coverage, professional liability coverage, first-party property insurance, and business litigation.
Seaman is a prolific author and speaker on insurance, business, and legal issues and litigation practice matters. The twelfth edition of his treatise, Allocation of Losses in Complex Insurance Claims (Thomson Reuters), is scheduled for release as a two-volume set this month. The treatise addresses many of the important issues driving contemporary insurance claims and coverage litigation and reinsurance cessions and arbitrations. Seaman was named to the inaugural list of Midwest Trailblazers by The American Lawyer magazine and is a fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel, the American Bar Foundation, and the Litigation Counsel of America.
