Bernard "Buddy" Lobermann, IV, is a litigator who represents businesses and municipal entities in both state and federal court, handling catastrophic injury cases and commercial disputes. He brings persistence, patience, and creative thinking to his advocacy, both in and out of the courtroom.

He has argued as lead counsel before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit on behalf of multiple municipalities and has served on several jury teams.

Earlier in his career, Buddy worked for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, where he quickly gained an array of experience defending complex claims in federal and state courts. In private practice, Buddy continued to represent governmental clients in defending them from civil rights and injury claims, as well as providing general advice to specific departments.

Personal

Buddy grew up in Los Angeles, California, before moving to Crawfordsville, Indiana, to attend Wabash College. He earned his law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he met his now-wife on the day he graduated.

An avid guitar player, Buddy regularly annoys his friends and family to come watch him perform at a local club. When he’s not working on legal matters or music, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
