Genavieve (Gena) Jaffe brings a distinctive blend of experience and personal background to Hinshaw. Her current practice focuses on serving clients in the financial services industry. Whether it is persuasive writing, in-depth research, or negotiation, Gena’s work as a solo practitioner over the past decade has allowed her to successfully become a jill of many trades. Her experience extends to mergers and acquisitions, securities litigation, and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations, where she has consistently delivered impactful results.

Alongside her legal career, Gena founded Connecting Rainbows LLC, an organization that offers free legal and fertility resources to the LGBTQ+ community. This initiative highlights her commitment to advocacy and support.

Gena’s background as a nationally competitive gymnast with a full scholarship to Penn State University has instilled in her a strong sense of perseverance and dedication, qualities she applies to her legal practice.

Outside of work, Gena enjoys spending time with her wife, two children, and pets, balancing her personal and professional life. She is rarely without a coffee in hand, reflecting her energized approach.
