Jonathan M. Yee

Jonathan Yee represents insurance carriers in complex insurance coverage claims involving cyber, fidelity, and various liability policies, including CGL, directors and officers, and errors and omissions.

Working with clients both domestically and internationally, Jon is committed to knowing emerging trends and the novel legal issues affecting first and third-party coverage. This diligence allows him to analyze and advise clients on sophisticated and high-exposure claims involving the rapidly evolving areas of social engineering and cybersecurity.

Before joining Hinshaw, Jon practiced in the Chicago office of a national firm. There, he represented U.S. and London-based insurance carriers in virtually all manner of complex insurance coverage claims.

During law school, Jon clerked for the Environmental Law and Policy Center and the City of Chicago, as well as the Circuit Court of Cook County.

Jon and his wife live in Chicago where they love to try new restaurants and explore the city. Jon also enjoys playing guitar and can often be found cheering on the Fighting Illini and Fighting Irish.
