Laura Michenfelder defends clients in complex civil litigation matters involving various claims, including commercial, construction, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, and transportation claims. She is well-versed in all phases of the litigation process, from pre-suit investigations to trial preparation. Whether negotiating settlements or litigating in court, Laura always ensures that she advocates for her clients’ best interests.
During law school, Laura was selected for the Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy, and spent over 400 hours per semester learning advanced trial techniques. She also clerked for a boutique Chicago labor and employment firm. Before law school, she worked as a paralegal assistant, defending small businesses against intellectual property claims in federal courts.
