She assists clients in defending disputes arising under a variety of federal and state consumer protection statutes, and she also works on matters involving foreclosure proceedings and loan defaults on behalf of creditors.

Layla was born in San Jose, California, and later moved to Tehran, Iran, where she lived until she attended UCLA for her undergraduate education, where she was named to the Dean's List. She enjoys traveling, skiing, and cooking.
