Melissa Licker has nearly two decades of experience partnering with financial services lenders, servicers, and investors to resolve their litigation needs in state and federal courts in New York. She provides her clients with strategies tailored to each situation aimed at identifying and mitigating risk.
Melissa concentrates her practice on foreclosure litigation, bankruptcy, reorganization, workouts, regulatory matters related to consumer finance, and general litigation. She is well-versed in bankruptcy proceedings, including contested matters, adversary proceedings, and appeals. Prior to joining Hinshaw, Melissa oversaw a national law firm's New York and New Jersey bankruptcy practice group.
