Tabitha Mangano represents clients in consumer financial services, creditor rights, and commercial litigation. She also has extensive experience in bankruptcy law. Before entering private practice, she served as District Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Tabitha advises mortgage lenders, loan servicers, and financial institutions on resolving complex lending, litigation, and real estate matters. This work includes managing foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings, enforcing loan obligations, clearing title defects, and completing real estate transactions.
With significant experience in default servicing, Tabitha regularly guides clients through all aspects of loan enforcement, including protecting creditor rights in bankruptcy courts. She also counsels lenders on regulatory compliance and best practices, and regarding various federal and state consumer protection statutes, including the FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA.
Drawing on her background in both government and private practice, Tabitha brings a practical, business-minded approach to helping clients reduce risk, protect investments, and resolve disputes effectively.
Following law school, Tabitha served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Mary Hotard Becnel of the 40th Judicial District Court in Louisiana.
