Biography
His main area of practice includes general corporate matters and real estate law.
Prior to joining McConell Valdés he worked for a San Juan law firm where he handled a variety of legal issues, including non-compete agreements, hold harmless agreements and foreclosure cases. He also counseled and defended numerous employers in a broad range of employment-related litigation, representing employers before state courts and federal courts as well as the Department of Labor and other administrative forums. He also opened a division devoted to providing advisory services in relation to tax incentives provided by Act 60-2019, including export services and individual investors.
While in law school he served as a research assistant to Dr. Marta Figueroa Torres at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law. He also worked as a paralegal and then as a Summer Associate at a law firm in San Juan, where he collaborated with attorneys on a diverse range of corporate and real estate matters, as well as litigation practices. Additionally, he worked as a semester law clerk in the corporate department of another San Juan law firm where he helped review and draft Public Deed of Sale and Purchase documents and wills.
Before attending law school, Mr. Sucre-Concepción spent a semester working for the Honorable Judge Wanda Cruz Ayala in the Court of First Instance of San Juan.
