On Monday, September 27, 2021, after more than a decade litigating in Puerto Rico and federal courts, Judge Laura Taylor Swain dismissed PREPA’s claims to recover $3.9 billion in contract payments, and granted Vitol Inc.’s $28.5 million claim for breach of contract.
