The Puerto Rico Energy Bureau announced it will hold a series of workshops related to various aspects of the energy industry in Puerto Rico for its stakeholders.
The first round of workshops is scheduled for June 7th and June 21st and will evaluate and address concerns regarding the implementation of Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority’s current interconnection regulation, including the digital platform developed and its adverse impact on the integration distributed generators in Puerto Rico. Stakeholders will be able to submit comments in writing until July 5th, 2019.
With the purpose of gathering input from different interest groups in the energy sector in order to publish a draft proposed regulation of the Renewable Energy Certificates market, the second round of workshops is scheduled for June 14th and June 28th. Stakeholders will be able to submit comments in writing until July 15th, 2019.
With the purpose of gathering input from different interest groups in the energy sector in order to publish a draft proposed regulation for the development and approval of an integrated distributed energy resources plan, the third round of wokshops will be conducted August 16th and August 30th. Stakeholders will be able to submit comments in writing until September 16th, 2019.

All workshops will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Energy Bureau Hearing Room located on the 8th floor of the World Plaza Building, 268 Muñoz Rivera Ave. in Hato Rey.
