Overview
The IIJA provides investment to improve the nation's broadband infrastructure. Federal funding aims to help lower the price households pay for internet service by requiring federal funding recipients to offer a low-cost affordable plan, creating price transparency, and boosting competition in areas where existing providers are not offering adequate service. It will also create a permanent federal program to help more low-income households access the internet.
Reach out to our Infrastructure Task Force for more information on how the IIJA may impact the broadband industry.
