Election Protection CLE

This November 7-8, Stinson will host its next nonpartisan Election Protection Call Center. While Election Protection provides training on the software platform used by volunteers, this CLE will take a deeper dive into election law and the types of legal issues volunteers might encounter in the call center this November and provide guidance on how to respond. Stinson Election Protection Captains Erin Naeger and Ashley Crisafulli will share best practices for call center volunteers. Sharon Brett, Legal Director at the ACLU of Kansas, will review Kansas election law. Denise Lieberman, Director and General Counsel of the Missouri Voter Protection Coalition, will discuss recent changes to Missouri election law. The event will conclude with time for questions from prospective volunteers. While this CLE is targeted for Election Protection volunteers, those who are interested in election law more generally are welcome to attend.

CLE credit is pending in: Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas.
