Chugach Electric Acquisition Featured in Global Legal Chronicle

Stinson attorneys recently advised Chugach Electric Association in their $1 billion acquisition of Anchorage Municipal Light and Power in Anchorage, Alaska. The transaction was featured as a "Mega Deal" by Global Legal Chronicle.

The deal closed on October 30, 2020, and is expected to lower long-term electric rates and streamline services for Anchorage area residents and businesses.

The Stinson team on the deal was led by Jim Bertrand, Tammie Ptacek and Steve Quinlivan with support from industry teams led by Jenny Ahn, David Axtell, David Bengtson, Rob Devolve, Audrey Fenske, Brian Meloy, Dave Parry, Rick Pins, Guy Smith, Bob Striker and Eric Whytsell.
