Associates in Stinson's Dallas Office Graduate from DAYL Leadership Class

Press Release
05.17.2024

Stinson LLP attorneys Zachary Ford and Bailey McGowan recently graduated from the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers' Leadership Class, a six-month program designed to connect early-career attorneys with opportunities to grow their leadership skills and make a difference within the Dallas community and the bar.

The Leadership Class provided attorneys with workshops, seminars and community service projects to foster education, leadership, and professional and personal development. The attorneys participated in the group's class project, "Trial by Trivia," a fundraising event benefiting Children's Health.

"The DAYL Leadership class provided an experience that will enable us to grow as leaders in our professional and personal lives and as active members of the Dallas community," the attorneys said. "We're grateful for the opportunities to further develop our skills as attorneys, build relationships with business and community leaders and give back to our communities and the bar."

Ford advises clients on business litigation matters throughout various industries. He's a former prosecuting attorney, giving him a unique perspective when navigating complex issues involving government contracts and investigations, as well as white collar crimes and investigations. Ford also devotes time to pro bono matters involving civil and human rights.

McGowan, a former public defender, focuses her practice on government contracts and white collar defense. She uses a hands-on approach to develop creative solutions while maintaining an empathetic attitude. McGowan's background helped her develop a keen understanding of civil commitment proceedings – a passion she continues to pursue at Stinson.
